About the programme

ISSA Goalside Reporters 2024 is an innovative initiative that aims to develop budding sports journalists through structured, direct mentorship and professional guidance. This unique program, crafted by ISSA in partnership with Greenfield Media and Easel Media, offers high school students across Jamaica the opportunity to learn directly from professionals, cover real sports events, and gain invaluable media skills.

A maximum of 50 charismatic students will be selected to participate in this programme that will have both an educational and a competitive component. Students will participate in virtual sessions with accomplished sports journalists, and showcase their skills on Instagram by building and promoting their own sports pages for the ISSA sports season.
